It's been a while since I have visited Kikar HaMedina, Tel Aviv's largest and most luxurious fashion district, and returned to you with recommendations for killer outfits for new year's eve.
The spring season, is known for the rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal in nature. In the same manner, a breeze of innovation sweeps through the fashion world, bringing in new tempting collections.
Now, just in time for the holidays, I’ve got some suggestions for you on how to welcome in the spring with style, from sole to crown..
Look down for the outfit by outfit breakdown!
Zadig & Voltaire– Streetstyle Chic
As mentioned above, the spring season, is known for the rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal in nature. In the same manner, a breeze of innovation sweeps through the fashion world, bringing in new tempting collections. I have found Zadig & Voltaire's to be one of the most refreshing, with causal and witty outfits. You take one red leather jacket, accompanied by a scarf, matching red boots and hat, and you get one total look- looking as good as you mean to go on.
Helga– 1950's New Look
For a more elegant look, I headed over to Helga's boutique store; On 12 February 1947, Dior launched his first fashion collection for Spring-Summer 1947. Originally, the two lines were named "Corolle" and "Huit". However, the new collection went down in fashion history as the "New Look" after the editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar Carmel Snow exclaimed: "It's such a New Look!" That was exactly my inspiration for this outfit with this full-skirted silhouette by Mary Katrantzou. Throw in the pink jacket by Unfleur, green bag by Prada, jewelry by Pandora and shoes by Mary Katrantzou for Sergio Rossi.
Escada- Classic State of Mind
Spring-summer time means pastel colors are in. The new season brings in some new-old fashion rules: wear 2 piece suits of pastel colors for a stunning look. That was the state of mind when I choose the following pastel inspired looks. The first one being an all pink & yellowish look all by Escada. Followed by a two piece red suit by Escada and finally another pinkish getup.
Amazing post, especially loved the Zadig & Voltaire set!
