When I was first approached with the idea to travel to Austria in December, let alone go skiing I must admit I was a bit frightened! First of all, Austria being a typical European country is very cold this time of the year and secondary, I don't really know how to ski.
Nevertheless, I conquered my fears, boarded a 737 and a few hours later landed straight into the Tyrolean Alps. My suitcase was packed with all sorts of things: my favorite Louis Vuitton bag, my bigger Prada bag, a new Dare2b ski suit, goggles, a big ol' scarf, my UGGs to keep me warm and one Vodka Belvedere bottle.
Why the vodka you ask? Liquid courage of course! Now seriously, it's well known that premium vodka is the hottest selling item on the bar shelf, so I decided to take it to the coldest place I can imagine.. And while at it produce one hell a photo shoot!
Learning to ski was a big challenge, but it was worth it! It was an inspiring trip, with great experiences which I deeply recommend for anyone looking for a vacation in the winter season. Now, all that's left is memories and pictures, the latter you can see below..
Special thanks to Memsi for the professional guidance and ski equipment
